Who I Serve
First-time Buyers
Are you a “first-time buyer”? Did you know the definition of a first-time buyer is someone that has not owned a home in the last three years? This can be important, particularly if the “first-time buyer” is looking for programs that help with down-payment assistance, or programs that have the requirement that the purchaser is a first-time buyer.
I’m always willing to sit down with first-time buyers to discuss the process of buying from start to finish. No one should make a commitment to purchase a home without talking to a Real Estate professional to get the basic information needed.
I regularly teach first-time buyer classes for Virginia Housing. These classes teaches six topics: 1) Managing Your Money; 2) Credit: The Good, The Bad, and The Improved; 3) Exploring Lenders, Mortgages and the Loan Process; 4) Working with a Real Estate Agent; 5) All You Need to Know About the Home Inspection; 6) Loan Closing. Attendees receive a certificate making them eligible for some first-time buyer assistance programs. Even those that don’t need that help can benefit from the information in the classes. Message me to find out more!
Seniors
Seniors are a passion on mine (because I am one!). How does one take a lifetime of accumulation and trim it down? Who can help with hauling unneeded items away? What is the next step: downsizing to a small home, assisted living, or even memory care. As a real estate professional, I can help the owner/seller AND often times the family as they navigate the process. It starts with a consultation. Everyone’s journey is different; let’s talk about YOUR path and what YOUR needs are!
